SILER CITY MAN CHARGED WITH SEX OFFENSE

August 14- A Siler City man has been arrested for 1 count of taking Indecent Liberties with a Minor when he was accused of inappropriately touching a 4 year old female child. Chatham County Detectives began working the case two weeks ago when they received information from the Department of Social Services. DSS workers advised officers they had obtained information that Dalton Siler, 28, of 704 Airport Road Siler City was the suspect in the incident.

Siler is no relation to the victim but is an acquaintance of the family. Chatham County Deputies arrested Siler on Tuesday for the charges and he was jailed under a $15,000.00 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in Siler City on August 28.
