GULF MAN ARRESTED FOR BREAKING AND ENTERING

Prentice Orlando GoldstonJune 22- The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Gulf man on Friday in reference to a Breaking and Entering that occurred at the residence of Bradley Garner of R Jordan Road, Sanford several months ago. Suspect(s) broke into the residence on February 3rd and stole approximately $1,200 dollars worth of household goods. The suspect(s) broke a window to gain entry. Investigators were called out to conduct the investigation and later determined that Prentice Orlando Goldston, 18, of 870 Clarence McKeithan Road, Sanford was involved in the crime. Goldston turned himself into deputies and was charged with Felonious Breaking and Entering, Felonious Larceny and Injury to Personal Property.

He was jailed under a $5,000.00 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on July 18.
