May 10- Deputies from the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division and officers of the Siler City Police Department arrested four people on felony drug charges at a residence near Siler City on Thursday evening. A search warrant was executed at 497 Greenhill Road, Siler City and officers recovered 70 grams of Crack Cocaine, 6.9 grams of powder Cocaine, 57 grams of Marijuana and $354.00 in cash.
1- Jeffrey Kalvin Brady, 45, of 308 Trinity Street, Siler City was arrested and charged with Felonious Trafficking Cocaine, Felonious Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Felonious Possession of Cocaine, Felonious Maintaining a Vehicle for Controlled Substances and Felonious Conspiracy to Sell and Deliver Cocaine. He was jailed under an $88,000.00 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on May 18.
2- Steve Ray Farris, 52, of 497 W. Greenhill Rd. Siler City was arrested for Felonious Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Felonious Sell and Deliver Schedule of Cocaine and Felonious Maintaining a Dwelling for Controlled Substances. He was jailed under a $25,000.00 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on May 18.
3- Christopher Calvin Mauldin, 20, of 2412 Siler City-Snow Camp Rd. Siler City was arrested for Felonious Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine and Felonious Possession of Cocaine. He was jailed under a $25,000.00 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on May 18.
4- Marcus Levaz Brooks, 20, of 1084 Lane Jordan Road, Siler City was arrested for Felonious Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana and Felonious Possession of Marijuana. He was jailed under a $25,000.00 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on May 18.
