PITTSBORO MAN CHARGED WITH FELONY LARCENY FROM A CONSTRUCITON SITE

April 6 – Chatham County Deputies arrested a Pittsboro man for stealing copper wire from a construction site.  Captain Roy Allen was working special assignment at the “Parks of Meadowview” subdivision off of old Highway 87.  While Captain Allen was patrolling the constructions site, he observed James Richard Parker of 534 White Cross Rd, Pittsboro NC, loading spools of copper wire into his truck.  Two spools of wire, valued at $230.00 each, were recovered.

Mr. Parker was arrested by Deputy Eric Lindley and was charged with Felony Larceny from a Constructions Site.  He was released on a written promise and scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court on April 9, 2007.
