ICE TEAM MAKES NARCOTICS ARRESTS

March 21- Deputies from the Chatham County Sheriff’s Interstate Criminal Enforcement (ICE) charged an Apex man with drug violations after a traffic stop was conducted on Ike Brooks Road in Western Chatham County. Deputies stopped Jason Ovens, 22, of 723 Cameron Woods Road, Apex on Wednesday and found 20.5 grams of Marijuana in his possession.

He was arrested without incident for Felonious Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was jailed under a $5,000.00 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on March 28.
