SHERIFF’S DETECTIVES ARREST THREE FOR BREAKING AND ENTERING

January 31-Three Siler City men have been arrested in connection with a Breaking and Entering that occurred 3 weeks ago on Epps Clark Road. Michael Earl Jordan, 45, of 726 North Garner Ave, Siler City; Capers Wayne Carnes, 45, of 1710 Hwy 64, Siler City; and Michael Anthony Headen, 43, of 405 East 7th Street, Siler City were charged with Felonious Breaking, Entering and Larceny. On January 11th, Thomas Ferri of Epps Clark Road, Siler City reported his residence broken into and numerous items taken which included a Harley Davidson Motorcycle, a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, tools and other household items.

A witness heard the vehicles leave around 1:30 am on January 11th. The pickup truck was recovered at Eastern Randolph High School later that day. A few hours after the truck was recovered, the three suspects were found in Alamance County with the stolen motorcycle in a pickup truck they were driving and riding in.  Both vehicles had a value of $28,000.00 and were returned to the owner. Detective Aron McIlvain investigated the case and made the arrests.

All suspects were jailed under a $30,000.00 secured bond and are scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on February 9.
