January 9- Deputies from the Chatham County Sheriff’s Interstate Criminal Enforcement (ICE) and Canine Units charged a Chapel Hill man with drug violations after a traffic stop was conducted on Tuesday afternoon in Northern Chatham County. Christopher David Boyce, 24, of 688 Mann’s Chapel Road, Chapel Hill was stopped for a traffic violation and officers found 14.2 grams of Marijuana in his possession after Sheriff’s Canine “Meko” alerted on the console. He was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
He was jailed under a $500.00 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Chatham County District court in Pittsboro on March 7.
